Resonance
Alassio
May 21 – May 24
Created for the First International Elgar Music Festival, Alassio, this series explores the visible trace of sound through movement.
Musicians do not simply play—they repeat, strike, bow, and breathe in cycles. These gestures accumulate, echoing through time. Using chronophotographic techniques, each image compresses multiple moments into a single frame, revealing patterns that are normally invisible.
The result is not documentation, but translation:
sound becoming form, rhythm becoming structure.
In Resonance, the body becomes both instrument and echo.
